Aids To Navigation

SK-E8592

The E8592 is a high-performance, power-efficient marine LED Projector sector lantern with a range of up to 17 NM. This lantern features a composite beam of three signal colors, each with nearly identical luminous intensities. The sector configuration is custom-tailored to customer requirements at the factory. All E859X Lanterns offer factory-configured Day and Night mode luminous intensities, selectable by a single digital input. These lanterns support rapid PWM control, essential for generating navigational signals at reduced intensities and for utilizing Fixed-and-Flashing (FFL) rhythmic characters or Slow Flash Front (SFF). The field-proven E8592 design can include optional Opposite-Isophase sector signal control, which produces rhythmic characters that reduce the latency of spatial awareness updates for mariners: the white sector signal is active during the eclipse in the colored sectors and vice versa, providing immediate awareness of leaving the white sector without the usual delay. A two-tiered design with two additional sectors offering alternating
